Will ATSG ABX pilots strike in 2018?

With continued loss of schedulers it's very well possible ATSG will violate the status quo and have another ABX pilot strike in the 4q 2018!

It's got to the point several employees pilots, schedulers, managers quit every week. It appears nobody wants to work for the President and his dictatorship management style! AMNZ Amazon prime air and DHL should take note!

Hey amazon and dhl, I'm sure atsg is telling you everything is fine it just pilot and union bs on here.

Why don't you send some representatives to interview employees on the front line and ask them for yourself the chances of another strike. You know you can dictate to atsg to settle the deal and avoid another 2016? Ask to see how many employees have left. Consult a labor attorney and see how easy it will be for abx to viloate status qou.

We want to move your cargo, it's just this management is toxic. You can fix it!

Short answer....if the company violates the status quo as they did in 2016...yes

The Feds have taken notice and have asked questions pertaining to the ability to continue operations. Great job JH and Soapy!

I also have it on good authority that ATI was sold to NAC, and in May of 2018, ATI and ABX merged to form a company called ATX.

Little is noticed until freight doesn't move. David Soaper sure wasn't selected by Amazon or DHL, but they'll know his name if he stays on his usual path of leadership... More like his incredible lack of. I'll carry a picket again at the drop of a hat. Last one got pinned on Starkevich. Next one will land squarely on Soaper. It's in keeping with his abilities.

Yep. Most of us were here when he got here, and we’ll all be here when he is gone. He badly underestimated who he was dealing with. The last remaining sands in the hourglass of his failed tenure are getting close to the bottom. He will be shown the door very soon IMO.

Unfortunately horible management has been the norm over the years at ABX...look at how the board has turned a blind eye to the increased costs of running 2 airlines even with the cost of a total refleet of ATI/Capitol...Soaper like Hete will be rewarded for alienating the pilot group which is their main goal...not for the business both of them cost ATSG. It's never been about maximizing profit or building the business....the board thinks they are ACMI guru's....the industry thinks they are fools while they grab all the available business.

I agree. And as amazing as it sounds, David Soaper will not be remembered by future new hires who arrive after he is shown the door.
I’ve asked many of the newly hired guys (the 151s) if they had ever heard of Bob Gray. They hadn’t. And why should they ? He was gone by the time they were hired.

For Soaper, the man who visited many recurrent training classes to intimidate them by threatening furloughs and causing the mass exodus of new hires, it will be the same.

But he is not done costing the company more and more money in the meantime.
This group will not cave for him. We would rather walk.
