Honestly if I could take the pay cut and divorce I would ABSOLUTELY apply for the 6 position. Would be really really cool to get typed and fly that thing!

Flies like a four engined Piper Aztec. Also, EAC has a respectable DO at the helm.

By the way... mistake ONE... you should have married a woman who could support you in a manner you want to become accustomed to :).

Hahaha I hear that she knew what she was getting into but overseas and specifically Alaska were her 2 demands so... is what it is sadly. Looks like a helluva lot of fun though!

I've been here 18 months, I'll make 130K this year without selling days. Got whatever days off I wanted. I like 4 or 5 on 3 or 4 off, but they'll build whatever. I had a 5 year hiatus after AA's bk, but this is a great place. Full pay beginning DAY 1, no training pay BS. Normally the same time zone for trips, 3-4 hrs max. It's a secret because everyone looks at the hourly rate. Mine is $150 with a 45 hr guarantee, but I fly 5 or 6 trips per month. I had the type, but they'll pay for that if you need it. I never did the commuter gig, so not sure what they want, but 300 hrs per year. Very laid back, perfect retirement spot. Fire away...

121 Supplemental cargo is a great retirement gig. Not so good for young guys trying to build time for the majors though.
