Well, when the initial CVR and FDR data was released and it reported a 49 degree nose down pitch, you could literally hear the gavel in the court of public opinion come crashing down on an act of malice. Sure, the prudent thing to do is for us all sit on our hands until the final report comes out 6 months or more from now, but sometimes you have to stand up and say something, anything, to defend these guys honor. I just didn’t see many people doing that and that just maybe, they did, somehow, one way or another, find themselves in a bad situation and they fought valiantly to get out of it...not trying to solve the case, just trying to present possible scenarios that don’t involve one of these guys acting with intent...

ABSOLUTELY!!
Because when has the press ever gotten an aviation story wrong?? There's nothing more absolutely correct and true than a journalist reporting on a technical report about something that he has never done in his life to bring out spot-on accuracy.
Clearly the desktop sim guys and the self admitted non-767 pilots have this all figured out from the second hand reporting of what was on the FDR, the second hand reporting of what was on the CVR, some online weather reports, and a two second video clip, that's ALL you incredible sleuths need to put this case to rest.
To those few pilots on this thread who actually happen to be airline pilots that participate in this idiotic speculation, you should be ashamed to be involved with this kind of guesswork. It shows a complete lack of integrity, brotherhood, and respect for our fellow pilots that you don't have the professionalism to refrain from this sort of thing. Were this, God forbid, ever to happen to one of you, it is an absolute certainty that you would never want people speculating about your demise and your role therein. It's like a childish rumor mill in an echo chamber with a few "knot-it-alls" spouting off with one incorrect assumption after another with some of the posts bordering on complete embarrassment.
There is not one single advantage of all of this speculating whereas there are a thousand disadvantages.
And for what?? To be the anonymous genius hero of the ACP thread??
Give it a rest for crying out loud.
To the very few actual Atlas and/or 767 pilots that have tried to interject an ounce of reason or accuracy into this discussion, it'll never be worth the time to try to educate and/or reason with these people.

Well written, as an Atlas Alum I am waiting to hear what the NTSB comes up with, they are the professionals. I cannot believe the Keyboard Cowboy, MS FLIGHT SIM experts on this sight, absolutely unprofessional and egotistical, but what can we expect from a group that is probably the same one that cannot keep their traps shut and make me have to turn down 121.5 every time over the Midwest because of their 6yr old type behavior, bunch of amateur Instagram pilots that they are. I hope the family’s of the pilots have not been shown this thread. Let’s wait for the professionals to do the job they are tasked with.
My goal was never to solve the problem, as you said. Rather, my goal was to learn from the situation that has no conclusion as of now and try to, as someone else said, put an end to the slander of these pilots credibility.

The whole ridiculous speculation of people that claim to be even instructors on the 76 was getting just plain stupid.

Thanks for the spelling correction, appreciate it, keep up the important work. Also keep telling yourself that your Flight Sim investigation is helping, maybe you can find yourself a NTSB Badge on EBay and deputize yourself. I apologize for my sarcasm but I really get annoyed at Monday morning quarterbacking
