Well, count me in as one of the 3% I guess - I just finished it 15 minutes ago and got this:
"We have received your responses to the UPS pilot assessments. Unfortunately, we currently have many qualified applicants and will not be able to schedule you for additional testing at this time. Thank you for your interest in UPS." Sorry to hear,I'd reapply on the next opening. Afterall, it is all electrons so far. Weird system that Atlanta has instituted. Ah... Maybe why they started the stupid online testing. Can't believe it is cost effective to hire a company to run this testing biz. |
Yeah, maybe I'll try to get to the next AirInc conference and try to meet someone from HR in person, just to prove I'm really not an axe murderer - LOL.

Moose,
Should not have said you like to beat your wife more this week than last week. |
Ah, I see. I thought it was because I stated I don't feel a tremendous sense of personal guilt when I see starving children in Africa on TV. (no $hit, the very first question).
|
Well, that's me and Moose in the 3%.
Children in Africa wasn't my first one, but it was in there. "I have never hated anyone." Well, I hated a kid when I was in high school, but as I've gotten older I've decided that that wasn't really right, so I don't anymore. I probably flagged for admitting that once upon a time I hated a kid, then later answering one phrased differently that I don't believe in hating people. Then of course there was "There are things in my life I regret." Of course there are. Version 2: "There are many things in my life I regret." Well, now that puts a different bent on it. Many? Probably a bit too strong, so False. "I thought about leaving home as a child." I suppose every kid thought about it at one time or another (maybe I'm wrong). True. "I wanted to run away from home as a child." Well, no, not really. I thought about it when I was in trouble for something once or twice, but I didn't really want to. False. You tell me . . . Either that or it timed me and I was penalized for the fact that I had to keep my kids from getting into trouble while answering some of the questions. Oh well . . . I guess there's always next time. (Now, should I lie when I fill out the next one?) |
Sure as hell isn't a 3% fail rate. I had two good friend flunk on back to back days last week... Married with children, no speeding tickets, eagle scout types. I don't get it.
