Who is we're. You actually have some organization in this thread pollution, or just a mouse in your pocket?

We're the minority opinion. The underground. The blogging masses.

Those who aren't in a position of authority but still have a desire to be heard.

Again with respect.

You are making my point on how the LOA should be much better for two of the most expensive cities on the planet. SFS worked because the dollar goes farther. The Paris and Hong Kong plans are inadequate because it doesn't.

You can make judgments on how we junior guys live or should live in a FDA. That is your right.

The CA's I know that have reviewed the LOA say the extra money doesn't even come close to making up for the hassle of moving overseas. They are disappointed and will not be going.

I respectfully believe you would think differently if you were faced with such a move with a lower seniority number.

Gunter, I'm already voting no, because the COLA is inadequate for the area. However, I just cringe when someone expects to live the typical American lifestyle in a foreign country, when it is above 99% of the native population's standard of living. Or when someone invents scenarios out of thin air to use as comparisons. The facts by themselves are enough to kill the LOA, without using unrealistic expectations or fanciful scenarios.

Also, the guy posting the rental rates in every thread is annoying. Why not start his own thread on HKG housing costs.
