I wonder why none of these wastes of oxygen are in Iraq, or at least in uniform.

Their daddies were fleetingly involved, at least.....

Probably more efficient than any truck, minivan, SUV, or V8 car at their most efficient speed.

But I can carry more in my Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab Cummins Turbo Diesel while pulling a 3 horse trailer, and still do 100mph!

My wife drives a Prius and I can say it is about 33-35mpg at 100mph.

I agree! I drive a Ford F250 CrewCab LongBed 6.0Powerstroke and tow a 13,000pound toy hauler. 9.5mpg, but that's ok.

I've never heard of a dope smoker going 100mph in anything! They just thought they were.

I guess I can't use that for my side of the argument, anymore. Wait, can you get pulled over for thinking you were going 100mph?

I must be greener! I get 13MPG when towing and get about 19+MPG when not. And it keeps getting better with each tank as that motor breaks in - 4400 miles so far.

What are you towing and how much does it weigh? Is it a PSD or Cummins? I know Cummins get a lot higher mileage

7500# 3 horse trailer w/ tackroom with 2 horses (3000#) loaded and about 500# of tack, feed, etc. 11000# +/-. I've had more when I removed all of the dividers and helped my brother move. I'm sure I was over the 13000# rated weight of the trailer and the truck - cruised at 80 with power to spare.

Its the 2007 Cummins 5.9L. The 2007.5s now have the 6.7L.

You guys are way off the subject here!!

I think all that talk should be on the "LOA vs. NASCAR" thread.

We're talking dopers and hybrids.
