I've flown with Capts who wanted MX called out because TCAS wasn't working properly (TCAS Off displayed on the VVI)
suggested:
turning on the transponder
or
turning on the mode c

Suggest you look up the meaning of accident, incident and mishap then come back to the thread. Your 2 cents isn't worth much.
UPS have only lost one hull. That was a DC-8 in Philly last year. That was caused by a computer battery catching fire in the cargo compartment. Yes, there have been plenty of incidents, but name one airline that hasn't had their share? Being the 8th largest airline in the world you would expect some incidents and more.

So,
pointing out that at least a few flights had unintended consequences is indicative of not being hired by UPS? Never interviewed at UPS so, no idea how well it would have gone. But, I did have several people offer up recs for UPS if I ever decided to leave the AF--which I eventually did (2001, and the interview went well enough that FedEx decided to take a chance with me)
My 2 cents is worth at least 2 cents.
Kronan definitions
Accident-An event that occurs unexpectedly and unintentionally that results in dinging an airplane.
(such as flying at an excessive AOA and scraping the tail, hitting another airlplane while taxiing, landing short w/damage, landing so hard that the gear fails on the next flight)
Incident-pretty much everything else safety related
mishap-synonymous with accident-to be more precise, a mishap is an unfortunate accident
NTSB definitions
Aircraft accident means an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the aircraft
with the intention of flight and all such persons have disembarked, and in
which any person suffers death or serious injury, or in which the aircraft receives substantial damage.
Incident means an occurrence other than an accident, associated with the
operation of an aircraft, which affects or could affect the safety of operations.
One caveat, the NTSB can "treat" pretty much anything as an accident and conduct a full up investigation.
Hugharse, what are your definitions?
According to the orignal poster, UPS hasn't had their share

Kronan: Well done on the homework. You get an A+ and a gold star!
I thought we all agreed that this gripe sheet is not real? Who cares what it says. It is all made up Nothing to do with UPS. My definitions are the same as your copied and pasted definitions.
Maybe it's just me but you come across as jealous that UPS haven't had a bad accident and killed people and/or lost airplanes. Sorry if it ****es me off. If I am wrong about your attitude then I apologize.
Good luck at FedEx.
