We don't have ANY ABX guys. So you might want to look for your friends elsewhere.

You do, actually, unless he left recently - one of your direct-entry captains. He wasn't an ABX training failure, though. He was an FO who left for the quick upgrade.

Well i work here at 21air. Maybe you know better? What seat do you fly for us here at 21Air? What's your "direct-entry Captain" friend's name, I have the latest senority list in front of me?
But as far as I know, we don't have any ABX guys at 21Air, Capt or FO.

21A vs. ABX vs. K5

A simple comparison of the APC company profiles shows that 21A has a higher guarantee, higher hourly rates, home basing and the potential for a fast upgrade. Suggesting that 21A pilots have departed former employers due to training deficiencies seems like sour grapes. If a particular company can't attract or retain pilots, I'd look at what's on offer.

And keep in mind that the pilot you're disparaging may be the one you need to ask for a ride to work or home, since your company doesn't provide travel. Wise up!

Now do a deep dive on work rules and retirement. ;)

No, thanks. Not many pilots are considering companies in this segment of the industry for a full career. Go where the pay is the best and you are provided tickets to/from home. Build some valuable experience. Make some friends. And then go to your dream job when the call comes.

I wish everyone could spend some time in the CVG hub before they decide where to work. The pilots at one of these outfits seem to be miserable, like all of the time.

Where do you see the minimum monthly guarantee on the 21Air profile page? I don't see it anywhere. I don't see any mention of home basing on that page, either. It's not that I don't believe it. I just don't see it there.

We have a 75hr guarantee. It is in our contract, that and we get 6.0hrs pay per day.

I'm not going to put his name out here. He was hired at ABX in mid-2019 and was gone to 21Air by the end of the year. When I saw him on the crew bus at CVG a few months ago, he was still there.

Curious, to all the "21Air and jump to career destination" people - how much are new hires an dyear 1 guys blocking every month? How long before someone holds a line?
