Deviation Question
To the Deviation Gods,
Please forgive my ignorance, is it true one can deviate @the front or back end of a trip and use deviation bank for a hotel outside of company scheduled hotels. Example (no real or implied connection to any particular event): One has a deadhead to FLL and deviates the night before, staying @ the Yankee Clipper @$200/night. Bank is $250. Submit the hotel charge as a deviation expense with the scheduled trip starting the next night? No out of pocket & all legal per CBA?! Thanks for any and all replies.
