UPS Assessment Concern
 

Completed UPS online assessment on 3/31. Test said pass and that I would be contacted by HR. As of today, my application has an active status and complete. While going through old emails I clicked on the assessment link to see what is was and all of a sudden it said fail. Anyone else ever hear of such a thing? And if anyone that has not passed and recieved the email saying thanks but no thanks, what does your :eek:application status say?

I am hoping this is a bad dream but it would explain why no phone calls to interview. But why an active status on the application? Why in the world would I pass the test get the email and then fail it without any email from UPS HR?

Someone tell me it is a computer error!

I would call HR directly to get the scoop, or if you have a sponser have them pay a visit during office hours. Better to know early, and put your name back on the right pile. make a copy of the e-mail saying you passed.

I did the assessment in March as well. It said thank you for your interest in UPS someone from Human Resources will be contacting you in the future. Still no word. Do you think I should be worried?

Thats just it! I dont know. My application is still active, and from what I know all that have failed the assessment went to an on file status. If anyone has received the failed email, what does their application say?

I think it's a good sign that your app is "active." After I finished my app, I got the "Application On File: Thank you for your continued interest in employment at UPS. This application does not require any attention at this time."

I think they may have filed it in the trashcan! When the window reopens, I hope I'll be able to get in and update. I think I'd look good brown. Do the pilots get to wear shorts with boots and ball caps too?

Fiimgi, sorry to hear about your situation. I think you should check with your sponsor, if you have one at UPS, and have them check it out. I took my assessment yesterday, but never actualy received an e-mail. I did however get a message after completing the test that said i will be contacted by HR. But no e-mail. So you may also want to check your related e-mails to make sure it said "failed" and not something else. Best of luck to you and let us know how things go.

By the way, from what i hear, "active" is good so you are still in consideration. it may just be a typo or something. Also i was wondering, if this message was in your e-mail from March, how could they go back and change it in your personal e-mail?:confused:

I have contacted my sponsors, so we will see what happens from there. My assumption is that it is a typo.......

I found and old email... figured what the heck click on it and what I got was the thanks but no thanks.... when I originally took the assessment it said pass... HR will... yada yada..

I hpe itis just a dead link and the fact that I am still active makes me think it is a computer thing...

Your assessment link was designed to only work once I bet. You did it, got the good message, have the all important "active" tag, and are sitting tight. The phone will ring with the (502) 359-#### number at some point.
