Sept SIG notes
the Optimizer produces some awful (but allegedly more efficient) pairings that mix our flying legs into some unfamiliar and undesirable designs—unfortunately all quite legal under the Contract
Amazing, coming from the Union. And with the LOA, if it passes, we will be hearing that a lot! Get ready, the proctologist is coming to see you!

I think the Sept SIG notes should serve as an example of what happens when disputed pairings get flown. Irrespective of the pending LOA, we should NOT be flying DP's guys/gals. As a MD driver, I can see guys falling over themselves to get the IND-STN-CDG pairings as we speak.
I get upset and unhappy about alot of things that are done to us by the company, the union, FAA, legislators, etc... but nothing makes me more angry and frustrated than when we do it to ourselves.

Here is one that I was laughing about:
Where can I find a good example of 'irony'?
From the Sig Notes for September:
Ground Transportation over two hours …The SIG approval for the company to schedule Ground transportation over two hours has been revoked. This is due to the excessive duty periods that have arisen involving the HKG to SZX GT. Not reflected in the September 2007 pairings, it will be seen in October.
