Default Any news on UPS window opening up?

I checked on the website and saw a listing of available jobs, but still nothing for a First Officer. Anyone else see anything yet or is there an update to future window openings?

I heard Aug-Sep from a reliable source a few weeks ago. Sounds like the old apps are being purged and it will open again soon.

It would be nice if they would go through the ones on file ATM before opening up the window. This system doesn't make much sense.

Was you last employer very structured and black was black and white was white. No exceptions.

I don't agree with the system either, but it makes perfect sense. UPS' hiring is very diverse, airline guys, corporate, regional, military, ACMI/freight, expats, general aviation, etc.

So with a data base of 10,000 apps they can require applicants to have toupees and false teeth if they want as long as its legal.

I wonder if my insurance covers a toupee ??? Anyone ???

Salute to you and thx for your service. I think you'll find more "out of the book" thinking at the airline level...starting with some of their whacky hiring procedures.

A little bit off the hiring topic, but in regards to procedures, airline operations are a conglomeration of many different sources. In simple terms, there are many ways to skin the same cat.

Best of luck in the hiring "game"..Thx for your service.
