Oh no, not again please!

Wow, you're like the grandpa talking non-stop about his heroic actions during WW1...and he was only a cook who never left his base...;)

No offense, but...

Let it go - please, you've been a purple guy for years, forget UPS, you're not part of it anymore. Many things have changed since you left, apparently you didn't...

...and yes, I too wish we had an employee discount but I'd rather hear it from someone who's here now, who stuck it out here and worked to improve this company.

Not some ‘prehistoric’ ex-brownie that was here when 727s were "state of the art." You chose to leave, now puhleeze leave us alone...

We can still be friends you know?
:p

The question posed to Miss Teen South Carolina was:

"Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think that is?"

She may as well have said, "Because they went to school with me."

Perhaps we should appeal to the UN to put maps in all our classroooms.

Not to defend JJ, but the parts company would not be harmed if they filed a claim with OOPS. Our self-insurance company would foot the bill. Back in the day when I had hair, I worked for a company that made high-end canoe and kayak paddles. I can't count the number of times we got paddles back from stores, that were bent in half. We went after OOPS and found that they were 1.5 inches longer than the limit, so some bonehead put them across his knee and bent them in half so they wouldn't be too long. You really can't make this stuff up! Ended up costing UPS over 20K. That's the company you and I are working for. I don't think very much has changed in the intervening 30+ years.

I see. Thanks for clarifying that.
