Packing Tips for 20 Day Trips
#11
shoes are the biggest problem. i dont like to wear running shoes with EVERYTHING (no offense to those who do it) so i find packing multiple pairs to be the biggest problem.
not sure if most carriers have gone to this or not, but since most pubs are electronic now, that frees up a lot of space in a flight case if you still choose to carry one. I can end up packing light jackets and extra pairs of shoes in a little divider, and my headset and flashlight etc on the other side. even has room for a small laptop

They're close enough that you might confuse them when counting out change by hand, but I've tried them in a soda machine before and it wasn't fooled.

The rule is...do laundry whenever you can. I take 4 undershirts, 4 pilot shirts one pair of jeans, 1 pair of dress shorts, 1 pair of shorts for the gym, 5 underwear, 4 pair dress socks and 2 pair of gym socks and a few assorted casual shirts and pair of gym shoes. and I have leftover room in my bag. If you are in Germany buy "Soap en Der Tube" for doing laundry in the sink or use shampoo. This works good in places like Turkey and Bahrain...in the UK it will take ages to dry laundry near an open window. When I am flying I have a pair of track pants to wear in order to save uniform pants.

3 pair of tighties
Go to Campmor.com or any outdoors shop and buy some Patagonia (or similar) quick dry underwear. Take a very small bottle of detergent with you. These underwear and shirts dry in 15 minutes. I take 3 pair of underwear and undershirts. One on me, one in reserve(in case I **** myself after being in BOM) and a spare(in case the BOM pair is unsalvagable). I highly recommend them. I haven't found any socks like this though.
