Good to see our top management work again. Lets review our brain trusts accomplishment:

Drucker like productivity....check
Porter (Harvard Business) competitive strategy...check
Oh that's right they didn't go to business school, there all butt buddys from the Academy. They're good at shoe shines, parked cars and now recliners.
Keep up the good work!

I am willing to trust the MEC on this one. If they say recliner B will protect my reclining rights in the future who am I to disagree?

Plus, even though recliner B is lumpy and does not fully recline I a SURE the MEC did due diligence when making my choice for me. I saw a few MEC members at the Lazy Boy store sitting in really really nice chairs while the Co rep told them the piece of crap in the corner was better for tax and scope purposes.

And don't worry about your kids. The Co will provide a single leg (made in china) for a chair that may be built at our expense so your chitlins will have an opportunity to recline. If that does not work for you, you may provide any sort of recliner that you can afford or may homerecline your children...

I can't wait to vote...

99% for the new recliners...!

As soon as practicable after September 30, 2007, but not later than October 1, 2007, the Company will establish the "REBA" (Recliners for Employees' Beneficiary Association). The company will contribute to the REBA 51 cents of each paid credit hour for each pilot having a seniority list number (which would otherwise be paid to the pilot in cash) as the pilot's ongoing monthly contribution to the Post-Medicare Plan/REBA.

For each eligible active pilot having a seniority list number on September 25, 2007, who has attained at least age 53 before January 1, 2008, who is expected to meet the age and service requirements for coverage under the Retiree Group Health Plan as of his attainment of age 60 or older, and who retires on or after September 26, 2007, the Company will make delivery of one (1) FedEx sleep recliner to any address in the lower 48 states (no P.O. boxes).

Hey Tony, which recliner do you think we should vote for?

One more example of direct dealing...

Don't let them get away with it!

"My Recliner Committee speaks for me!"

The "A" in REBA, stands for account, not association.

Gosh!! Here we go again...

READ THE LOA, PEOPLE!!!

I personally don't think ANYONE should even sit in the new recliners until we has out all the details on the color and location of placement for them. I can't help but imagine, however, some dudes will just go ahead and break down and sit it them before all the work is finalized....

I don't think you need to worry about it -- the recliners will go too senior for you.
