That's one of the nice things about Airbus. The planes, at least the A-300 and A-310, were designed to land in a full crab. Unlike the MD-11, which we all know if landed while not pointing directly down the runway, with zero drift, will cause the undercarriage to fall off, Airbus has made their jets to be operated into and out of 3rd world airports, by 3rd world pilots (meaning no disrespect, only that they've made their jets hardier and more forgiving than US made equipment.) Now if they could get rid of B!tching Betty, b!tching to us with a French Accent.

As for FedEx getting the A-380, I'd suspect that almost no one on this board would be senior enough to hold that plane, with the possible exception of just a few guys. Probably for the best, because I'd envision lots of weight gain by guys flying it, what with 15+ hour trips and nothing to do but eat. Even the food served by FedEx, given enough of it, would put weight on. Plus, call me a nationalist, but personally I'm glad that we didn't buy that jet, but bought Made In the U.S.A. instead.

Unless it's based in HKG or CDG, in which case they'll have new hires in it.

I feel the same way JJ but sadly almost 70% of the 787 is produced outside the US and it is merely assembled in the US.
