However, I will take a stab at your last question. I think it was Richard Cherry

See you do understand where we are coming from. It's all about me and what I can get out of this job. We the IPA feel the same way. All we want is a fair and equitable contract which provides for our personal needs. Exactly what you want. It's unfortunate that UPS and the IPA have such bad blood between us. If the airline structure was run like a tradition airline where you move from line to management to line then we would all be equal. But UPS wants it this way and thus you must behave this way. Do me a favor and quit beating us down. Normally we are truly professional group that you and ever other manager at UPS should be proud of. We all do our jobs with the highest regard to standards and safety. The overall safety record of this airline speaks for itself. After 4 years of lack luster negotions it's time. What we get in the end with benifit you. Coffee's on me anytime. Just look for the Airbus guy with a positive attiude. MCW

Wrong.. but who is Richard Cherry?

It was jumpseat Betty. She checked us all in for our 61 minute check ins, did the jumpseat forms and even tried her hand at crew scheduling for awhile.
Nice try

EIGHTMENOUT1 12-28-2005 03:35 PM

I had totally forgotten about Betty. Here's one: Who was the management Cpt who "got all four pods" on a DC-8 in ONT

The questions over for now. I must get ready for the normal all nighter away from my family. If you are truly a management type read and reread my last post. For truly we are all the same in the end. JUST A NUMBER.

Enjoyed the game of UPS trivial pursuit. While you are doing your intern duties tomorrow come up with some harder questions.

WHats the Story

If this was true then why did the mediator refuse the request for release? Think about it.

In case UPS managers come over to mangle FredEx.
" Didn't he have Atlas lined up to fly if you walked?" Nice... Let me guess 30 or so 747s and 500 crew members will cover the daily load of 5000 pilots and 600+ aircraft. Math not your strong suit?
"I also know a number of Ex UPS managers now at Fed Ex." Know any ex FedEx managers at UPS? Me neither! Because......?

Because UPS doesnt hire previous losers? Perhaps!

FreightDawg2 12-28-2005 04:51 PM

Gina can you hold?

de727ups 12-28-2005 07:12 PM

This is stupid. You wanna know eightmenout1 is send an email to ONT F/O John Steinbeck. I believe he is a big part of this site. He can track the guys IP.

Trash Hauler 1 12-28-2005 07:14 PM

Not kosher

Wouldn't be fair to ask that of Steinny.

Airbum 12-29-2005 04:09 AM

This leads to the only logical conclusion. 8man is not ups mgt. These posts are too easily tracked and he/she would know that. These posts from him/her would certainly come under UPS's anti harresment policy. If this was a mgt pilot he/she would be fired for this sort of behavior in a public medium.

This is merely a issue of someone who derives pleasure from degrading others.

That could cause a terrible situation with legal consequences. Unlesss a crime is involved the administrator would be really sticking his neck out if he released 8mans IP address.

"That could cause a terrible situation with legal consequences"

Why? What sort of legal consequences? Are there really laws that protect the privacy of posters at an internet message board?

How about "it's just not right"?

UPSDISPATCHER 12-30-2005 11:58 PM

Or how about this one: My buddy works in IT. I could have him run an internet records search for this website on all the employees in the training center (only takes minutes to do). If someone logged on and posted from a UPS computer, which they probably did, they're done, fired, end of story, intern or management it doesn't matter. Why get our friend JS involved if we can do it officially from the inside? All it would take is one time posting on this site from work and it is logged for good and a severe violation of the UPS electronic communication policy. Is it worth someone's internship/future or career? Not yet. I hate to be this way, ATEMENOUT, but I think it is time you found a different venue to express your stupidity. Perhaps I'm wrong and this was done outside of work, however, there is really only one way to know for sure......

That would cause a terrible situation, however, more of a credibility issue for APC rather than a legal issue - read the terms of service on the site, and forum rules, and case law.

The anonymity of our users is a matter of OUR policy rather than a legal obligation. That said, we value the privacy and anonymity above all. We will not under any circumstance voluntarily "out" any user regardless of how we feel about the content of a post. Of course we reserve the right to close, delete, or otherwise moderate a post or thread for any reason.

I would caution users that we could be forced to cooperate with law enforcement and or court order. Slander and Liable come to mind as potential causes, please type carefully.

My request is that unions keep the negotiations at the table, keep in mind that this IS a public forum with about 35,000 unique IP visits daily. The world IS watching gentlemen.

And to that end, this thread has turned into rather unproductive witch hunt, let's move on.
