1st year 767 pay (at $38/hr at 65 hour credit per month) and trying to live in KIX is insane, is ABX furnishing a dorm or doing any kind of COLA? Having spent my fair share of time in KIX, I don't see how a guy could make it.

There are different stories on the 2nd year pay thing. I talked to one of the guys that was hired for kix and he said that was just a rumor when he hired on and that they never said it would be 2nd year pay. I'm afraid I started that rumor (see ABX is Hiring thread) a while back. I did however say that it was just a rumor. DHL has said they are going to park some more 9s, but in the same breath we pick up some more cities from Astar that the 9 will fly so who really knows. I still say something is going to happen (merger) after the first of the year. Boxhauler, you got your letter right???? You going to the 9???

Sat AM outbound they canceled 2 flights due to lack of Captains..........
But we are adequately staffed says the Bobs......
Ya know at some companies people have lost their jobs over less. I am still waiting for Mr. Graber to make his presence known, oh yeah I forgot he opened the KIX domicile. I had such high hopes that an outsider could shake up the "old boys" club. I guess the bonus money is just too appealing.
