FDX - New pay provisions kicking in after JAN08

Does anybody have the average aviators explanation for this new rule? I have been told that if you block over 8 you get any overage in addition to the trip rig computation, if that's how the pay for the trip was generated.

True?

True, if you are on a TAFB trip, any block over 8 but less than 10 will be paid after your trip ends. Block over 10 is included in trip guarantee, if you fly over block on these legs you will get 2 hours + block time over scheduled.

Hope this helps.

So will the pay get added to the following months paycheck on the 15th, or will they add it the end of the month check now?

It should be paid like any "overage" in the following 15th of the month paycheck. Not happy about it being applied this way personally, remember for block 8-10 on a TAFB you HAVE to fly it to get it ! Get it ?;)

The bad:
* Must wait till the the next month to get paid.
* Increase line spread
* Drags down BLG which intern lowers RLG

The Good:
* Doesn't count for vacation
* don't get charged for it if you sick out of the trip.

What did Monica have to do with it? :D

Does a deadhead block over 8 pay like a revenue trip?
