Company's Next Move?

There was talk of that in the late summer, but that was to perhaps lead turn the Age 65 legislation.
Clearly the company did not see that as advantageous then, not sure why it would be advantageous now.

I see an excess bid coming for the DC10 and 727 SO seats.
When senior over 60 guys volunteer to relieve the excess you will see overages in widebody CA seats soon after. Then I'm not sure what will happen.
It would save the company money to displace junior CA's to FO and some widebody FO's to narrow CA or FO. But the training costs incurred may be too much. A year or so after all the displacements there would have to be a bid to start the upgrades again.
No one has mentioned the F word and, even though all seats will be overmanned, I believe no will be given any time off.
How many pilots are we overmanned by? 150? 200?

I think the company's next move will be to negate our pay raise by increasing health care premiums and reducing our BLG through creative line structures. Oh wait....sh*t they already did that. Oh, you mean the NEXT move to hose us? Let me think on it.....

Hire 60 over next year to fill FDA's. Small bid one year from now for more to the FDA's/757 and 777. Possible excess off of 727. Only my ideas, no more. Hire 2-3 years from now or as needed as FDA's continue to be unfilled.
