Personally, Intra-China is some flying I don't mind giving up. Can you imagine what they would put in the scooby snacks?

That should be our highest priority in the current talks with management.

How's that Bob? Will you go away, now?

Or, just start your own thread with all of your warnings for us.
Busboy...likely what you're best suited for considering your thin skin. Maybe stronger meds are in order. Lighten up Francis.

Except that flights in and out of ANC still don't have to be flown by ALPA pilots.

That got fixed with the LOA too, right?

Scarsam inserted here.

Based on your first comment, I was under the impression you had looked at it, and planned to provide some insight, vs. just answering questions with questions.

Frankly, I never have seen how it was enhanced in the LOA, and it's never really been explained in a way that makes sense to me. I believe the logic used has been similar to 'possession is 90% of the law...' or something like that.

Of course it doesn't guarantee intra-anywhere flying. It can't. Do you understand cabotage or eighth and ninth freedom rights?

While a few countries allow it, most don't. That's why we don't fly intra-Canada and the FedEx painted jets up north are operated by Morningstar crews. We fly the freight from the US to Canada, they take it the rest of the way.

Intra flying is protected. If we could fly intra-China, then they could fly intra-USA. Do you want to trade that? Do you understand that if that ever comes to pass there will be no more US registered airlines? The airline industry will resemble the ocean shipping industry and most airplanes will have Liberian or Panamanian flags on them, while still be painted in UPS, FedEx, UAL, NWA or Delta colors.

We do fly intra-China, just not with intra-China freight. I've flown SZX-PEK-PVG in one day. Kinda the same as you don't see Chinese airlines hauling US freight from LA to NYC, but they are allowed to stop at multiple cities to pick up freight. Anything else would have to be negotiated between the two governments concerned and our CBA would carry no weight (pun intended).

AA - your post makes it look like I posted the comment that you responded too. It was actually SB's comment. Not sure why it displayed the way it did.

Just wanted to set the record straight. (actually, this preview looked like you posted SB's comment. Had to delet the 'double quote' showing up at the start of the message.)
