27, I don't know how far you want to go back but that profitable airlines do not furlough is not a true statement. You could start with NWA who did it all the time in the 60's/ 70's. Drop a route or sell some A/C, end of Vietnam war and no military charters, pilots on the street. If they think its worth it your management would do it in a heartbeat.
