2. the company's illegal interpretation of what a "required flight deck crew member" is (ie. those over 60 and NOT FE's are NOT "required" according to the FAA's interpretation of the law) - so why is our union allowing the company to interpret it THEIR way without questioning/grieving it??
That's why they are the ones who want to take your ticket when you violate one, not the company.

Oh it hurts so bad when you stab me in the back.!! Although the tone may be a bit different at the meeting, this MEC and it's officers still can't figure out the communication thing and DW still seems to be on his OWN program. I hear that after the conclusion of the conference call the other day, DW decides (without lettin the MEC know) that they are going to hold a hub meeting. Who's running this union, our reps or DW. Then no comm about anything discussed. The last "update" from my rep was LAST APRIL!!! This MEC still doesn't know the word communication.
