Default Tradewinds Alter-Ego for FedEx?

Conventional wisdom in the Pacific is that Tradewinds is wholly-owned by FedEx, possibly FedEx Trade Networks. Does anyone know if this is really true?

Who knows? A UPS 747, still bearing a UPS registration number has been observed with a tradewinds paint job. Lease, or scope violation?

Sounds like a good rumor. Call the union, and I'll bet you get a better answer than here.

The UPS aircraft was a lease we were using and have since returned it to the leasing company. I would imagine the tail number will be changed sometime soon. Wishful thinking on someone's part I think.
Cheers

That shows Carribean Transportation Services to be a subsidiary of FedEx Freight.

Flights between BQN and BDL, IND, GSO, and DFW, and flights between SJU and MIA.

I was only aware of the BQN to IND flights ...

And you wonder why FedEx is reluctant to make any sort of Scope commitments.

Cornerstone!

Thanks for the link. I heard they were mainly a Caribbean operation, yet Ive see a 747 in their livery in HKG and other places in Asia too. Interesting. guess we better watch them like a hawk.
