I agree, in general, but also have talked to a number of geezers who have been in the back seat a while and have gotten used to not having to think...not to mention the lack of desire to go through any training program again.

Don't even get me started with in regards to instead of in regard to. Regards are something you pass along to somebody.
Next on my list is suppose and supposed.
"We were suppose to do something". No, you were supposed to do something.
