FDX 3RD Practice Bid
Still 18 open slots in HKG. Almost no secondaries anywhere. 34 openings in HKG 16 filled. 12 openings in CDG 11 filled.

Because of Bambi's Mom....
I'm not going to say anything because I don't have anything nice to say....
Grrrrr.... TSDeeez Nutz |
Yeah but think about all the injustice being corrected by letting the old guys get their seats back.
Yeesh! |
They also are required to have a Class One by the close of the bid too. Don't hold your breath on some of them.
|
One of the HKG guys is 63+. Realize that a lot of guys are BIDDING these seats hoping to never train but to capture passover.
My prediction is that to fill X seats they may actually have X + a few more on the final bid. That's just my pure wild @ss guess. I have already demonstrated repeatedly that I have zero SA on how this bid will play out. Good luck to all in any case... |

It looked to me like the practice awards were updated but, as you said, not the percentages. I realized this when I saw the 'Happy Man' on the percentage list for ANC CA, not MEM FO.

When updated, I'm not sure the percentages are accurate for all seats.
Right now, there are 380 SOs in the back of the Boeing. Current percentages show about 260 SOs in the Boeing after the bid. That would mean 120 leave the seat. ...however; round #3 only shows about 43 SOs leaving...add in another 9 on the current 757 training letter for CDG, 9 on the Airbus 300 training letter for HKG and MEM, 10 for the MD-11, and 2 for the 727...and that adds up to 73 total Where are the other 47 or so? I guess they are sitting on the very bottom of the all the training letters as LCAs and Flexes? If so, the data on the percentages is misleading for this seat --- and in reality, the Boeing SOs below the 30% level or so, may be sitting about another 15-20% lower than advertised once all the training (and non-training) plays out. Thoughts.... |

I don't think this is correct. The practice percentages have not been updated for the 3rd practice bid, at least for HK.
What do I know but, my numbers are simply how many seats the company said they needed and how many training slots they filled. I am ass-u-ming that if they would have had more volunteers for HKG they would have filled them. I did not look at the percentages. |

Thoughts.... The #'s don't match cause there are a bunch (emphasize bunch) who never went/completed S/O school in either seat. Ha Ha.....oops, can't gloat, but our favorite "shoulder injury" is SOL........there is justice eventually. |
