Lunch with Albie (or b1tch at Albie!)

Bros,
I made a committment to you guys to try to improve comm. I also made a committment so a few folks I really respect to not wade into EVERY (you notice I didn't say ALL) food fight on these boards. However, I'm hearing a lot of knashing of teeth about some old subjects (pro negotiators, our current contract, etc) and would love to banter some ideas and thoughts around.
So...I'll be in MEM next Wednesday for a PM out and back trip. I'm going over the the Gun Point Holiday Inn for their awesome lunch buffett around 10:30, and I'll be there until about :30 prior to my showtime. If you want to come vent, offer suggestions, or call me a weenie c'mon over and we'll do it over fried chicken and sweet tea. No...I ain't buyin'...but I am listening. If you call them from the AOC I'm sure they'll send the van if you don't have wheels.
I'm going to try to do this at least once and hopefully twice a month here and there. As of yet I am not even an MEC officer, so realize we are just exchanging ideas here. I've got nothing "official" to say and odds are you'll have some questions I simply won't have answers to... However, I've been a visitor to the last MEC meeting and went to the ALPA leadership meeting in DC last month. I'll share my impressions of what is going on and am interested in your inputs.
Also...if you think I'm going to try to sell you something...do a search of my past posts on the various issues. I want to help make some improvements, but I cannot do it alone and I cannot do it overnight. If you really want to make a difference I'll offer some suggestions.
I will warn you...if you come complaining I'll do what I did whenever I had a flight member or NCO show up with a gripe. "What is YOUR fix?" will be a question you can expect. That said...I look forward to meeting any of you that are interested...
Cheers....

I love fried chicken and sweet tea, but alas, I am only an Honorary Member of the Order of Sleepless KNights (per frozenboxhauler). Does it count?
[Sorry for the thread drift. Still trying to see what it's like to get an infraction from my favorite mod.]
