Never stayed over in Warsaw...sorry took so long to respond.

Almaty is tricky, scenic, and very cool, but not for the light hearted.

Archie, speaking of Bataan Death Marches...the next day after a night out with me at Sticky fingers could be likened to that....I had a guy doing Kung Fu on the dance floor a couple weeks ago..funny, but very scary.

FF,

I'll take my chances at Sticky Fingers (kung fu dancing, and all) with you anytime over the Bataan Death March. At least you have an actual layover there.....The Vegas layover on the death march gives you exactly enough time to sleep, shower, eat, and change back into your uniform for the 3 legs you just flew, in the opposite direction. Not a real popular trip for the ONT guys.

Wow! You have time for all that on that trip? ;)

Well, you missed the “no sidewalks, dodging Billy Bob in his pickup truck at night” part.

I live in Tennessee so I’m quite comfortable not having sidewalks. Heck, I can even walk out there with no shoes and the hot pavement won’t bother me at all.

The pilots from the “more developed” – a.k.a. over-taxed regions of our country though really struggle with the “finders keepers” or the “if you can kill it - you can drag it home” attitude of some of the Kentucky drivers.

UPS offers outstanding health insurance but I think it has a disclaimer regarding “hit by a native driver” – we’re on our own if that happens.

How do you figure I missed it when it is highlighted in "blue" text on my response?

Really? Name one decent establishment.....and don't say that cajun place in the shopping mall, or I'll have to get my stomach pumped as a precautionary measure.

Maybe we can meet up on a SDF layover, and eat at my favorite restaurant....all the waffels, eggs, and hash browns served up with dirty silverware that you can eat....on me. Is it a date?

OK. Here is just one of many.

What kind of food are you looking for?

Baron...why are you so hell-bent on sticking up for the Ville? You on the city council?

Saw a 757 at Clark AB, PI a few days ago. Where does that trip originate?

There is one that goes down to KUL and Penag. I forget where the other one or two go.

CRK is a mini hub for UPS in SE ASIA. At around 11PM local about 5 or 6 757's 1 or 2 767's and an MD-11 all arrive and stick around for a couple of hours before departing to other cities in Asia.

The edible kind....which doesn't include places like TGI Fridays, or the Waffel House. Get it?
