DHL career

Does anyone here have any insight into flying for DHL? I've seen the payscales, but do you think they are financially viable for the next 10-20 years and do the pilots there like their jobs and schedules. Any hiring news?
Thanks

DHL contracts their flying. If you are talking about "the folks out of Ohio" then you mean ABX. It's really not flying for DHL since you would not be working for them. Sure ABX paints their airplanes in DHL colors but your check will come from ABX.

ABX and Astar both have their ops based at ILN now. Because DHL is a foriegn company there are a number of players:
ABX Air: Flies the DC-9s, 767s, and some DC-8s. Not all of their flying is for DHL and they currently have a few still on furlough last time I talked to a friend there.
Astar: Flies 727s, DC-8s, and a couple A-300s exclusively for DHL.
Airborne Express: Ground handling company.
