See, that's not what you said. You said they give, not they gave. And then you qualified it with you got hired in '96. 10 years ago. Yeah, I know we interviewed in LA. What does that mean. I have been involved it the interview process for 3 years, so I know what we do. When was the last time you had anything to do with the process? That's what I thought. And I never said I knew the purpose of the testing. You did.
OK. I give up. You are the all knowing great one. The great voice of experience and reason. So, please share your knowledge and answer the original question which was "...found a brain buster of a test...Is this key to being hired?"

No one has attacked you on this thread, so I'm confused why you're attacking me. I'm just trying to share my experience and the opinions that I gained from that experience. We're always willing to hear the facts versus opinions if someone has them. Otherwise, we'll continue to speculate based on the opinions expressed.

Default The Key to the Tests

When taking the tests, the key is to follow directions. If they say don't guess ,DON'T. If it says to guess by all means do so. I know of people who have answered only 2 or 3 questions on a test, but they answered those correctly, and made it through. If you guess alot and miss those, thats bad. If you answer all the questions correctly, then they will know you have the tests and thats bad.

Boy, do you know some slow readers, or what?

There really is no reason to fight on this board, especially given that all that was asked was: "is the test key to being hired." I'd submit that none of us has the real answer on this one. We've all got our opinions, and all of them should possibly help Tanker Toad.
