Wasn't what I was looking for, I don't know much about cargo carriers. Does the company have an overall bad reputation, I've heard of people getting in their with low-time.

I know Custom Air Transport had a PFT program a few years back for $30,000 for a FE position on a B727. I was just wondering if Tradewinds was a similar type of deal.

Just looking for info, not interested in participating in one of these PFT programs in any way.

I know a few guys from there and currently know an instructor from there. All of them are "from" tradewinds for a reason. They have all told me to steer clear.

The stint of low timers (less than 3000 hrs) getting hired is over. I have heard a rumor of one or two guy getting hired even without a mutli rating back a few years ago. No PFT and no training contract. TDX has/had a bad rep due to one of the former chief pilots and the former D.O. and a few things they pulled. The place is slowing getting better and Teamsters has been voted in but it will be sometime till we actually have a labor contract in place. We still have a better sked (and MX from what I have heard) than Southern. But remember, its ACMI. All ACMI carriers suck.

Tradewinds (Wrangler) and I do believe CTS existed before FDX even started. The 747 have nothing to do with CTS and only a couple of the A-300 do.
