Default FDX-Passing of Jim Lynott

Jim Lynott, former crew scheduler from 1985-2001, passed away at his Miami home Easter weekend. Jim served his country in the Marines and was wounded in Vietnam. He retired from Fedex due to medical issues. He loved the Cleveland Indians and would schedule his vacation to follow them around Florida during Spring Training. He was also nuts about his Bernese Mountain Dog, D’artagnan. You knew that if you called crew scheduling and heard “Scheduling, Jim”, you could have a civil discourse and get a fair shake. We will miss you Jim.

I'm sorry to hear that. Just like Scotty, Jim was a pleasure to work with.
