The route should look something like MEM-DCA-IAD (alt. BWI) and then IAD-MEM That may change though.
Either way, its happening...

The first one, N901FD, was accepted last week and is in the paint shop now. SAE in Mobile is about 6 months behind on delivery for 901FD. There are two unconverted 75s sitting on the new ramp by the MX hanger, waiting for open conversion slots. When 901 gets out of the paint shop, it's scheduled for about 2 weeks of Proficiency flying to get all our sim qualified folks checked out in the jet. After that, several days of proving runs, tenatively scheduled for MEM-IAD-IND-MEM. After that, the Feds add it to our Ops Specs and we start revenue flying, which will be limited to LCAs and IOE students for a while
Thanks for the info fDX727pilot...

Most legacy carriers have a separate pay scale for every different airframe, and sometimes for variants of that airframe. They would not pay A300 and MD11 pilots the same, either (American, specifically.)

Probably not, but the priesdent was already set when FX bought TIGERS. A DC-8 which grossed out around 350,000 was a narrow body. Why because you could only load it like a 727. Not doubly wide like all the other wide bodys we have............
