Do you know what section of the contract was being disputed?

Agree, Underdog. I also don't know what was being grieved, exactly what the "settlement" settled, and whether or not the "settlement" affected any other sections of our contract other than the grievance. Does anyone?

Just go to the ALPA website and look at the settlement agreement, it's in the first paragraph-Grievance 08-01 pertaining to sections 24.C through E. I would ask the grievance chair if you want more info on the specifics of the grievance as I have zero idea what they were.

I had my award cancelled, at least that is what one lawyer from contract enforcement said. MP contends I'm a DC-10 excess, even though I haven't been to training on the plane yet, and, even though I am a A300 Captain.

I was told since I didn't put HKG Captain as a choice on posting 07-03 as the junior guys did, they get it and I don't. I didn't put down a second or third choice because I was guaranteed DC-10 Captain under the CBA (excessed from SFS). I'm guessing the other guys put other choices down because they are relatively junior. Posting 07-03 was well before the "settlement agreement".

So what gives? It would certainly appear that the settlement agreement took away my rights under the CBA. Guys junior to me are awarded HKG Captain but I cannot get it because I only put down one choice, which is all that was needed prior to the agreement.
