FDX - What if...vacancies?
What if the company now turns around and posts vacancies for the same number of seats/aircrafts/domiciles as this last excess...would that accomplish anything?
- displace the Nuggets
- eliminate or reduce passover pay

I think everyone should change their standing bid to include the dc-10 if you can hold it. i would love to see the extra training slot go to complete waste. if the company was smart on crew issues (big if) they would just pay the few over 60 guys passover and let the rest of the business just happen...

I didn't even consider putting the DC-10 in my bid. I guess I should just in case I can hold it.
I wonder just how big this training letter is gonna be. I also wonder if they will get it figured out before the end of the year.

The current bid as written allows all the senior F/Os who wish they had upgraded a couple of years ago to do just that. They can displace anyone junior to them in a Capts seat. There will be a lot of shuffling going on because of this bid

They will not award you anything in the DC-10, I did that on the last bid. Also you will not be awarded HKG Capt, it is full. Passover pay should apply if you are excessed out of your seat you have a preference for HKG Capt and they award you something lower than that provided you are senior to #4009 (the most junior HKG Cpt). Been there done that
