Not sure if it's the best place to ask the question but I'm trying to find a job while I wait for the furlough recall at TSA. Is the LAX operation in need of help? The career page has no info on jobs available but I find it hard to believe that as big as FDX is, there is no entry level jobs available in the whole LA area, it's mostly kinkos openings, is there no turnover at all for handlers/rampers fedex express side? Or should I just walk in and inquire at the centers?

Yes, just walk into the customer service center and ask about employment. They'll know the gouge. Some states require you apply via a state employment agency.
Typically the company doesn't do much hiring in the spring, but now that we are past the end of the fiscal year, they may have openings. Otherwise, you'll have to wait till next fall.
