Re-elect LOA1? A case for considering a "YES" vote.

....So for me it now really boils down to how much I'm willing to give up to avoid a compulsory train ride (or hydrofoil????). It's a train ride I'll probably take anyway, but if the same day were scheduled in a car or plane, that train would be saving me time and maybe bank.
How many years of doing that would make it worth what I would have given up to give me that choice.
Is it really that big of a difference?
I suppose it depends on how long you are in the FDA.

...I'd urge folks to take a "strategic view" of the FDAs.
...what's best for us now AND in the future.

This is why we need to fix the FDA LOA NOW! There could be a lot of us there in a few years ...

I don't think we will. If oil keeps rising, we might. However, the news from the Hub meeting last week reported we were 340 overstaffed. Sounds bad until you factor in the 210 we'll need to man-up the 777 in the first bid. That means we're only 130 over staffed after that bid. Considering we'd have to go down to the BLG minimum 48/60 to cover 500 jobs, I think we're okay right now.....but then what do I know? I just thumb the red tabs, serve coffee and back everyone up.
