Wardo and I attended LIFT, F-111 RTU, and spent three years at RAF Lakenheath together before the AF sent us our seperate ways. Rejoined here at FedEx when he was hired in 05. I talked with him last Friday AM in the AOC. A class act and great friend--can't believe he's gone.

Flew with Ward the first time last month. Like everyone says, an all around really great guy. Ran into him last week during a hub turn and shot the breeze for a few minutes. Who knew that would be the last time?
Makes you think about what is important in life. I'll be saying a prayer for him and his family.

So tell me where exactly are you sending the money. I'm confused. I asked a few questions about somebody asking for money, and you have to comment just like you have over 1200 times. You must like to see your name in print.

Look, the original post where someone suggested creating a donation for the Fedex pilot's family happened some 5 hours ago, that's it.
Several of us asked the person to let us know the details of his/her proposal, in other words IF the fund is set up to post the details here so we may contribute. That's all!
You on the other hand have acted as if you've never even heard of a donation drive and feel entitled to know absolutely everything because after all it's YOUR money. The fact is there are no details to be shared since, once again, the original proposal only happened some 5+ hours ago.
If you are sincere and are truly confused then I apologize. However, if you’re trying to make some kind of twisted point here then you should be ashamed of yourself.

Heard from mechanics at OLV, the engine was operating at full throttle, aircraft was nose down at impact, Shelby County Sheriffs were interviewing different people ................. This begs the question ............... WHY was that throttle wide open at time of impact ???

Now's the time to pray for Wardo and his family, not speculate on how or why. Sounds like FedEx and the local military put on a class act bringing Wardo home. Thanks to all those who participated. Full military honors with fly by on Friday. I unfortunately can't make it, but I will be thinking of Wardo this Friday as the missing man Eagle pulls up over Boise. Here's to our fallen comrade Wardo.
