Thumbs up Russia

If Russia is a G-8 country and Moscow is the most expensive city in the world with tons of oil money, why don't UPS crews get to go to Moscow? Does FedEx go there or contract it out? Anyone else???

Any other places we should be sitting for 4-6+ days on a layover (OK--not for me I am junior. I am just making sure the over 60 crowd gets another good deal).
I'm confused... We have UPS line guys in Moscow? What happened again?...

Very good question...... Yes I do believe that FDX crews have been going there for quite a few years. I'm sure UPS moves plenty of express volume in and out of Moscow, but we sure as hell aint flying it.

Fedex quit going to Moscow when the 727 was replaced by the bus in Europe. Maybe 7-8 years ago. Even when we went, we didn't haul cargo, we were just holding a landing slot. I guess we got tired of waiting on their economy to start up.

Exactly which is why I mentioned KGB/FSB - they'll choose the restaurant for you in any country of the world…
