UPS-Double booking on jumpseats
What's do you folks think about people booking themselves on more than one flight? Ex, morning flight to ANC and afternoon flight to ANC. Is there a UPS or IPA policy against this?
Just curious because I see it happening.

I read somewhere that if you see this and need one of the seats, call the Jumpseat desk and have them removed on one.. They will just have to live with the one they get... I have seen Managers doing it as well. (multiple Pri-3's)

The company is blocking seats that go unused at times too! I was bumped two days prior to departure on the SDF-ANC run. I rebooked the same flight the next day when a double booker finally dropped out and only two of us actually flew in the back of the -400, the company still showed 2 seats blocked for possible reserve pilots. Ridiculous.

SDF-ANC-SDF is always full on the good departure times and starting to get that way on the early shows. How about guys start double booking the ANC-HKG leg. LOTS more available. Better yet--PM me and I will give you special one time good deal FNP for you GI. The view is much better in the front than the bunk snoozing. Takers???
