FDX- Trading trips on XMAS eve
#3
What are you trying to accomplish, get off on the 25th, be on a particular trip that operates over the holiday?? If your willing to work over the holiday they should accommodate a swap that covers the curfew days. If its denied, I'd call scheds than an ACP if the rationale doesn't make sense.

The contract (yes I did read it before posting) says you may not drop on Xmas eve and day, but also says that you shall be able to trade with another trip in open time. Just don't want to submit some trades only to get crew notifications saying denied for stupidity.

Who cares about that. Sometimes trades and drops get approved due to someonelse's stupidity. I submit what I want to do and let them tell me why it won't work.

You can trade off any trip that touches Christmas Eve or Christmas or any other of the mentioned days as long as max open time allows it. So put that trip trade in earlier and often because those days fill up fast. I'm hoping to do the same.

Also, it has to be the same daily footprint. In your case you can trade out of your 6 hr trip on the 24th for any 6 hr trip in the month. Should be pretty easy to do (unless insufficient reserves) if you do it quickly.

Actually the trade can be up to +/- 12 hrs of the original trip. Your total trip trade increase or decrease for the month is 12 hrs.
