Default FDX stow-away

Does anyone have details relating to the FDX stow-away on a flight out of MEM around 10 - 14 days ago?

I tried to PM you to keep this off the board, but I am not allowed to. I am a member of another forum that has no restrictions on PM's, so I think the policy here is stupid. (Hear that moderators?)

Here is the scoop, straight from the Captain's mouth in the crew room. He was climbing out and they heard a loud pounding on the door. Scared the crap out of him, since no jumpseaters were listed on the FP/R. They turned around and landed. Turned out it was a hub worker who had fallen asleep in the back. This is not the first time this has happened. Several years ago, a hub guy was locked in the belly of a 727, I think, and flew the trip from MEM to somewhere on the east coast. He made it alive, and scared the ramp guys when they opened the belly. After that, they instituted a new procedure to make sure that no one got "left behind" again. Hmmm, maybe it is time to review the procedure.

Thanks for the skinny on this story. I bet that dude was escorted off of the premises and told to never return!

Lucky he didn't get some open handed palm strikes to the face, a half-spear or two, followed up by a couple of headbutts, and finished off with a devastating full spear to the throat!

Pretty unbelieveable that this can still happen after 911.

Lucky the crew were not 'packing' and blew him away and asked questions later.
