FedEx Ski Disc.
Does anyone know if we get discounts on lift tickets in Colorado or Utah. I tried to look up info on the old FedEx ski club(via greenscreen) and could not find any info. Has anyone had luck just showing their crew badge and getting discounts once they get there or does one need to call ahead?

If you don't find a FedEx discount, if you're flying into DEN or COS and then driving to the slopes, go to a front range Safeway or King Sooper grocery store. You can get discount tickets there.

Ski discounts
I've tried several of the Park City, Utah resorts without success (although I could usually count on a discount at the same resorts in my pax airline days).
Several (maybe more than several?) of the local ski shops between Salt Lake City and Park City have discounted lift tickets available for purchase at their shops. Of course you'll have to do that on your way to the slopes. There used to be a ski shop in the baggage claim area at the SLC airport that had the discount tickets. |

some Utah resorts offer free skiing on the day you fly in. I've operated in and used my trip sheet as proof -- they honored the deal:

The corporate perks website has deals on Park City, $25 off an adult one day pass...not bad at all.
Link might now work, but if you haven't signed up for this site, its got some good deals. http://us.corporateperks.com/secured...&uOfferID=2076 |
Anybody know about the Tahoe area? Taking my kids out there in FEB and looking for any deals available.
Thanks in advance. |

New cars? Lift tickets for expensive skiing vacations at exotic locations? What's next, a new Captains house? I thought all you guys were all sweating the "F" thing.

Vail will give a discount. Amounts to about the same as having a Colorado card. Vail ticket will run you around $55.00 vs. @$75.00. This should be the same for all the other Vail Associates owned resorts as well including the Tahoe owned resorts.

Check 6,
Heavenly (and all Vail resorts) give a discount to airline pilots on their list. For the most part it's the legacies but stoner ski bums working the counter for $8/hr don't really care who you work for. 10 days of skiing out at Vail, BC and Keystone last year and I never even had to show my ID. |
