I really think now is the time to put that crap in the rearview mirror. We have got to move on and support what is going on because it is A DIRECT attack on our CBA. If we don't stick together and support DW and the boys in their - what section will be next?
Prepared to move on; please don't shortchange responsibility for the MEC/Company joint sales campaign on the HKG LOA.

Agreed- time to move on. But wouldn't be nice to see DW, BC, and the rest of the MEC man-up and admit they contributed to this fiasco by pushing the over 60 retro and the CDG/HKG LOA.

Also, let's hope JG and the rest of the negotiating team can tighten up all of the loose and sloppy language in the CBA at the next rounds of negotiations.

I can't argue about the over 60 issue or the next round of negotiations, but doesn't the bad LOA actually work in our favor right now. The out of seniority bases are one of the main blockades between us and an actual furlough or at least a real looking threat to furlough. If the LOA had made HKG senior, the company threat of a furlough would look much more real, and our grievance would be that much tougher. I know the purple nuggets would still be out there, but with half the cost to realign...

This is what I heard at the meeting:
DW in response to the question "What do you want us to do?"
"That's an individual decision." He went on to say
"If someone's got their hand in my pocket... Hey, don't ask me for any favors. But that's just my personal opinion"
I did not hear DW say "I wouldn't do anything extra."
