There you go, I believe United even had it in their FOM although I'm not sure.
Does the company have one of those they read before bedtime? And last time I checked, I'm the one paying for ALPA, which means I'll decide what code, if any, I'll follow. |

I want to be upfront about this. It is an un-confirmed rumor from an MD-11 LCA. He stated that 16 MD-11 flexes quit Thursday. Can anyone confirm?

Maybe, they meant next Thursday?

ALPA code of ethics; the code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.
Everyone needs to print the FCIF, stick it in their locker. And for as long as you are here pull it out and remember how the company will sc**w you with out the courtesy of a reach around. FedEx managment is bringing back unity in ALPA even if DW is our sorry MEC Chmn. |

FLEX guys bid PAY only, so unless they are junior, most bid highest paying line and are compensated the line value of the pay only line they held. Those that are junior will be stuck with RLG or even a LOWER paying line under the current 4.A.2.B fiasco. I saw some regular lines that paid BELOW RLG in my seat. The flex guy who gets that is even worse off than a Reserve line holder, same number of days for even LESS pay ! What lower RLG does do is affect the extra days worked and that is a factor to all in the school house. |
