Exclamation FED EX MEC Chairmen's Message April25

"I believe that, from this point forward, the only prudent course of action is for our union members to assume that management will not move off their current economic position without facing the reality of an orderly and legal confrontation. It seems unjustifiable in light of our continuing contributions and the fabulous financial position of our company, but it is becoming more obvious that this was never about money." Cpt Webb.
I believe this is dead on. Management is doing their job and have no reason to "give" us anything. This message seems to have a significant change in tone from our leadership and I believe its time for our actions to reflect that change.

I'm in ... 100% effort -- no more no less. No draft, no volunteer, no selling vacation, carry-in conflicts left in make-up.

Picture the effect of Subic's solidarity on a larger stage....

The writing is on the wall ... the rank-and-file can bring about a contract.

This is to the posters of this board that seem to feel (their) union is too strident, too confrontational, or too unreasonable in there (negotiating) position.
If you weren't here when this quote was part of a red letter sent by FedEx during the later days of our last negotiations; let me say they are Fred Smiths words to, us, the pilots of FedEx. I'm going to turn it around and ask you,

....either with you or without you...

Your either working with us or against us. You can't sit on the fence here, time is running out.........
