FDX 09-02 Recap

Just looking at some numbers. One would have to assume the numbers in all but the 57 and 27 are good for the company since they were "right sized." Way fat in the 57 this year. What are good crew ratios for the 57 and 27? Might give us an idea how fat we really are and what to expect next from the company. Discuss...

If I'm reading this right, the 757 is pretty heavy in 09, but not 2010. Seems like they would be heavy somewhat in that plane, since it is a growth a/c. Being a little light in the 727 would also be ok, since it is going away? Nice work Cujo.

Sounds like last info I heard in January from "O", said mgmt planned to "plus up" the 757.

Numbers seem funny, When I total the pilots we are missing 400. No not starting any conspiracy theories.

Numbers are missing guys on Leaves of Absence. I know this since I am on one and don't show up anywhere on the lists of current percentiles. Can't say that explains 400 but who knows.

It must be all the ND's that have put in their retirement notice:eek:

The 757 right seat is skewing the crews/ac quite a bit. If the F/O numbers were in line with the C numbers, it would be ~14 this year and ~6 next year.

I would expect the 757 F/O seat to be the next one with a sizable excess bid, the captain seat doesn't seem that far out of proportion for next year and may even be a bit undermanned.

I know the numbers seem off...but it's right off the percentages. I know a few on PLOA/MLOA and they are on the list.

57 C - 100 F/O-197. That changes things but I just took total #'s and divided by 2

30HC- 70 F/O-36 with 27 slots still open

My guess is 57C (-25)...57 F/0 (-100)...27 F/O (-1)

What if they put a (-1) on the 27 S/O? Another free pass for the over-60 or continue to force guys to HKG?...just trying to plan since I'm moving down...alot

1172 on the airbus if you add them up. So about 300 not showing up. Maybe 150 leaves of absence, 150 disabled?

Thanks for that info.
