Now that Hong Kong has been filled from the excess bid (50 F/O's) what are the bets that 09-01 will be canx'd.

09-01 FCIF says 36 FO's and with 02 and 03 they got a total of 23. Perhaps a cancellation of 01 and a posting of 04 with some FO slots?

As an aside I heard that the SCP told some LCA's that a Euro-domicile is coming very soon ...like this fall? Any one else hear this?:rolleyes:

I don't believe HKG FO slots are filled yet.

09-01 Vacancy bid posted for 36 FOs.

09-02 Excess bid produced 9 FOs...and 09-03 Excess bid produced 14 more.

Total from excessed bids = 23; thus, theoretically speaking they still need another 13 to "fill up" the 36 on the vacancy bid.

I've heard the same. Paris with the existing Buses. So I guess we can expect: cancellation of 09-01, possible new HKG FO bid, Paris FDA bid, next 777 bid, possible MEM 300 excess if they park the remaining A310-200's and don't get enough movement on 777 bid to soak it up, next 757 bid which also may tempered by what happens with the remaining A310-200's. Sound roughly correct?

They do not need to cnx 09-01. The 09-01 language said these opening can be changed by upcoming excess bids. All that they need to do is close 09-01 with whatever vacancies are remaining. Their trump card was well played I must grudgingly admit.

From 09-01:

Future Bids
We are currently evaluating a realignment (excess) bid that we expect to post within a week. Therefore, it’s possible that some of these vacancies will be filled through the excess process.

Just because someone writes it...does not mean it is true or more importantly CBA Compliant!

I think there is something in the CBA that references that postings may not be amended after issuance, only canceled. I think it is curious that they "awarded" 20 additional CA slots on 09-01 practice bid 1.

I guess we will have to watch for the FCIF, the guy who cancels bids at FDX sure has excellent job security.:eek:
