It's been pretty clear to most of the FDX guys on this board what needs to be done. I would like everyone to discuss this message with all their fellow crewMEMBERS and decide how they read "now is the time to step up. Individually initiated resolve is powerful".

Amen to that, Hog. Time for the selfish acts to stop.

Why is this dirtbag posting on the FEDEX forum as well as UPS's. He is definetly a management type with no avaition experience.

"Geoffrey" seems to construct sentences and comment on both UPS and FEDEX just like the Eightmenout1 entity. Anyone notice the likeness?

With the exception of a couple greedy sky wh***s, everbody here in Subic has been spending our days off with our families. That includes taking our vacations, not volunteering, drafting etc. It must be working, they are building trips for Memphis based pilots to come over here to cover the extra flying we aren't doing.

What does that tell you about the resolve of Memphis as a whole? Its time to step up to the plate fella's. If the rest of the crewforce followed our lead, we would have a contract within a month. Its a bit frustrating watching a few getting rich on the backs of those whom are sacrificing.

I know you can stick your head in the sand and say my MEC didn't tell me to stop being a wh**e.

For those whom are on board and doing you part, Thank You. Shame on the rest of you.

ITS TIME !!!

I can't believe it's 80 hours after widebody f/o open time came out and there are still 38 trips still there in Airbus F/O open time. Maybe the lightbulb has finally turned on. Open time is normally all gone within 24 hours.

727 open time disappeared. I personally put over 50 hours this month in the hopper to spend time with family and fulling ANG obligations. Those trips dropped disappeared in about 6.9 seconds.

I don't play games with my schedule, but I've got about 18 months left of flying F-15s so I'm savoring the time I have left. That coupled with some family issues means I've been spending a lot more time at home this year. Its not a one-man work action, its some issues on my own homefront. However, I was VERY concerned that in June I would NOT be able to drop the trips I wanted and might not be able to adjust my calendar. I didnt' have to worry--the guys on my seat snapped up EVERY trip in open time. Its obvious not every FO is reading the MEC information...

"Ops normal" ended quite a while ago...

Powerful indeed ... and quite simple.

Just Say NO.

No, I will not sell back my vacation.
No, I would not like to be called for draft trips (and no thanks if you call me anyway).
No, I am not interested in volunteering at 150% (or 200%) pay.

Until management gives us a deal worthy of our contributions, just say no. Fly your line, go home and spend time with your family and friends. Job action? Hardly. More like just plain doing your job. When an improved contract has been signed, feel free to return to "ops normal" and fly all the extra you want within contract/FAR limits. Until then, assume the role of active, engaged, and supportive union member!

Two years (and counting) has been far too long for FedEx to negotiate in good faith.

Do you think FedEx could handle the not-so-distant "peak season" if MEM pilots adopted the SFS "100% only" approach? Step up to the plate and do your part now to get a contract sooner rather than later....

I don't waste much time on the likes of GEOFFREY - - it just isn't worth the heartbeats.

The value of UNITY cannot be understated. Until The Company is convinced that we have UNITY and resolve, there is nothing to motivate them to negotiate in good faith.

Now, when it comes to UNITY, there's not much I can do to force you to be part of it. I can only determine what I think, what I want, what I am willing to do to support the cause. No MEC rep, no ALPA e-mail, no plea on an internet forum is going to determine how I react - - only I can do that.

I have resolved to stop worrying about the GEOFFREYs. I will take care of myself. I will take advantage of every opportunity I have (layovers) to assure my fellow pilots that I will do the right thing - - it's up to them for THEM to do the right thing. Rather than focus on the negatives, the vocal minority, the GEOFFREYs of the world, I will focus on the positives. I can count on me, and you can count on me.

I am ready.

Two Years is Too Long!
