Hello to all Purple folks,

I am again faced with an issue on a FedEx Jumpseat. I would like to ride on #48 ANC-EWR 07/24/2009. I am on stand-by and awaiting Capt's permission to ride due to the configuration of the MD. Is it possible for someone to contact him/her and ask if they wouldn't mind taking a Brown Brother along. I promise to take up very little space.

If it works......I remain indebted.

Isn't captain's permission something that should be reserved for us? I've never heard of us getting company-only consideration from anyone else. What are you thinking?!

If it is a crew rest a/c, a jumpseater is required to have Captains Permission to ride. Offline crews can only make a reservation 24 hours out. It's not like he would be kicking one of our own off the jumpseat.
